The Angola striker, who has scored six goals so far this season, suffered an Achilles injury as Charlton lost their unbeaten record at Bournemouth on Saturday.
Midfielder Johann Berg Gudmundsson was struggling with an ankle injury during the second half so he will need a fitness check while right-back Chris Solly is likely to rest his troublesome knee.
Joe Gomez (ankle) and Simon Church (shoulder) miss out again but Frederic Bulot could return having sat out at the weekend following his exertions on international duty with Gabon.
Bolton could have a double midfield boost with Mark Davies and Medo Kamara set to return for the trip to the capital.
Davies has been troubled by a knee injury, yet has been back in training for a while and new manager Neil Lennon has suggested he could be key to Wanderers' fortunes.
Medo only returned from international duty with Sierra Leone on Friday night so missed Lennon's first game at the helm - a 1-0 win at Birmingham which lifted the club off the foot of the table.
Midfielder Liam Trotter (hamstring) will play for the club's Under-21s on Monday while Adam Bogdan (fingers) and David Wheater (back) will return to action soon, although Marc Tierney (broken foot) is a longer-term absentee.

Fernando Amorebieta is still out with a knee injury and Adam Taggart remains sidelined as he recovers from a back problem, although the Australian striker has stepped up his training lately as he edges closer to fitness.
Symons is therefore likely to stick with the side which secured a fourth win in six matches since he took over last month
