NBA Minnesota Timberwolves – Portland Trailblazers

Recommendation: OVER 203

Rejuvenated Minny welcomes Portland in Traget Center tonight. I guess Wolves will get a close win and send their fans home happy with a stunning 3-0 start (well, they didn’t meet quite an opposition really). Anyway I much more like OVER here, it’s way ‘’surer’’ call in my humble opinion.

Minnesota showed decent game overall so far, bad opponents or not. They will hardly reach the play-offs of course, too weak defense, but at least offense is running and clicking under fresh Ricky Rubio distribution skills. Their Nr. 1 Draft pick, Karl-Anthony Towns, also showed a lot of promise with a fine display against Denver, shooting 11 from 19 for 28 points and adding 14 rebounds and 4 blocks to his tally!

Portland is a team in transition, I doubt anyone on the upper management levels or among the players believe they have what it takes to reach the play-offs this season, after dumping 4 starters from last year line-up. At least though Damian Lillard is the undisputed franchise player now and he seems delighted with his role on the rebuilding team. C.J. McCollum is a very nice compliment to Lillard in the backcourt too, this young fella definitely can score the ball and I envision bright future ahead of him too.

So what we have, 2 teams with clearly offensive mindsets (and personnel allowance) and total line of 203? Win or lose, I buy that, thank you very much, Vegas!

- A Phila alto il gap ma non vedo in discussione il risultato, i Sixers hanno ripreso da dove avevano lasciato la scorsa stagione abbinamenti in campo che mi fanno presagire under con i padroni di casa che faticheranno a raggiungere i novanta totali.
- Di diverso avviso per la gara di Brooklyn, entrambe sono ancora a caccia di una prima vittoria stagionale, finora hanno dato il peggio di se con medie dal campo discutibili e una difesa che lascia molto a desiderare. Se stasera un po' le medie tornano ad essere "normali" quella linea e' alla portata delle due squadre che giocano una pallacanestro offensiva.
- Interessante la gara del Madison, indubbiamente San Antonio resta favorita almeno sulla carta, eppure i Knicks di inizio stagione hanno varcato facilmente il centello. Meccanismi degli Spurs come sempre consolidati e difficili da scardinare, per tenergli testa medie alte anche stasera. Pensiero su una eventuale sorpresa di nottata, altro possibile over.
- La notizia buona e' il rientro di Howard in casa Rockets, l'all star cerchera' di invertire la rotta intrapresa dai suoi disastrosi anche nell'ultima contro Miami dove hanno dilapidato un vantaggio di quasi venti punti per poi andare a perdere con la doppia di scarto. Per il momento vado con i Thunders e controtendenza direi under visto la fisicita' delle due squadre.
- Proverei a dare fiducia anche stanotte a Minnesota per la prima casalinga, roster completo che puo' gestire una buona rotazione dalla panchina e precedenti a favore di Minnie contro i Blazers che arrivano da due sconfitte in fila dove hanno toccato i 90 totali di squadra.
- I Campioni in carica sono partiti forte anche quest'anno, 110 per uscita come biglietto da visita per le contendenti e i Grizzles negli ultimi TaT hanno potuto poco quando GS ha iniziato a sparare dal campo. Gap alto ma non impossibile, per me anche qui gara da under tra le due.
- Anche i Clippers sono partiti forte con 3 vittorie in altrettante gare, possono vantare un 8-2 nei TaT contro i Suns che pero' non arrivano qui stanotte come agnelli sacrificali, hanno semmai qualche buona chance di restare almeno entro il gap. Possibile over qui tra le due.

per quanto tosta menphis ,squadra con potenzialità ma spesso incompiuta nei play off ,e che anno scorso tra le poche a mettere in difficoltà i campioni ,Golden mi sembra partita come ha finito con Curry folletto cecchino in grande forma e una squadra ormai collaudata capace di parziali che fanno male.l'hd non regala nulla , anzi forse è esagerato , ma in questo momento i limiti degli warrions sono sconosciuti , per questo non mi dispiace appoggiarli ( anche perché temo che siano poche le squadre che siano sotto le 2 cifre di gap in casa degli state).
